Mini-Mindset: Growth vs Fixed Mindset
As the topic of mindset soars in popularity and trendiness in fitness, I want to articulate 2 competing ways of thinking, and how they can apply in regards to your health and fitness.
Simply put, growth mindset is believing you can change, you can improve, that you can be more than you currently are; that you can grow. A fixed mindset is awfully limiting, because along with it comes ego, the thinking that you ‘are what you are,’ and that failing and being incorrect proves that you can’t do something, instead of clarifying the path to how to achieve it. Listen in and hear me elaborate on my struggles regarding these ways of thinking, and how to put yourself in the mix and improve your health and fitness just by thinking.
